  We rented this unit with a few of our friends to go skiing at Big Powderhorn and snowshoeing at the Wolverine Sk/Snowshoe Trails for a weekend. Upon arriving at the unit, everything was clean and organized. There was plenty of space for all 8 of our guests (couples) to sleep, store their equipment, and hang out outside of their rooms. The sauna was a great addition that we used each night and the fireplace made the place very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed. The views and accessibility to the mountain were fantastic (a minute drive or a 5 minute walk). it was easy to get around the area (to town for groceries or food, to the restaurant in the lodge, or to the slopes). We had a great time and the weekend was easily filled with activities. If we had to leave any sort of negatives or comments for improvements we would say that the driveway/plowed areas of the yard got a bit muddy as it was a warmer weekend and there was some snow melt, the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was OK, and bring your own towels if you plan to shower and use the sauna as there was plenty to use for showering but only 2-3 spares for sauna use. With that being said, would 10/10 recommend this cottage to others.

  Summer rentals at BPM while the skiers are away are a great fit for our family. We had four couples there, representing Wisconsin, Kansas, Colorado, and Ohio. Many other relatives live nearby, and having a "home" instead of four motel rooms for a week was very convenient--and a good value. We shall return!

  We stayed here along with our large family and it was super quaint and cozy yet large enough to host us all. The view of the ski hill is the best of all of the cottages the upper and lower windows have direct line view. We realized the shuttle took us to and from the hill/lodge/bar anytime during our stay which was awesome with little ones and all of our gear. It was clean, and had almost everything you would need to feel home away from home. Also, the Sauna in the basement was a cool addition :) Overall, it was fantastic!

  Four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms offered a lot of room. The kitchen functioned fine. There is a sauna in the basement. However, this property needs repairs and updating. The furnace required a repair while we were there. The management company was very quick to respond. To get the upstairs reasonably warm, the downstairs was uncomfortably hot. The front steps and parking were not adequately shoveled, and it was quite icy. My biggest complaint was that only one of the four beds was comfortable. The view of the ski slopes was nice. However, not sure if it was worth the price since it is NOT ski in/ski out.

  My friends and I have been coming to Big Powderhorn for over 10 years. This was the first time we stayed at Casa Bella. We were very comfortable as everyone had their own room. The unit was clean. A few things could be worked on. The dishwasher makes a quite a bit of noise. I have this dishwasher at home and it is much more quiet-makes me think something is wrong with it, but it did OK. The plug in the upstairs bathtub didn't stay shut so we couldn't take a bath. We couldn't find he flue to the fireplace, but the smoke went up so we assumed it was open. It was a bit cold in the livingroom, don't know if that is due to the need for better insulated windows or because we couldn't close the flue. Over all, the unit is very nice, we would rent it again. We did notice a strong gas smell outside the east door as we left and called the desk to report that. The overhead kitchen cabinet to the left of the kitchen window appears to be pulling away fromthe wall or the cabinet is coming apart. May want to check this so dishes and glasses don't come crashing down. There was confusion on my part about the unit being under a different mgmt group so my discount coupon from BPLA couln't be applied, however the lodging manager, Antoinella (?sp) was very kind and adjusted our rental to 'stay 2 nights, get one free'. We love coming up to Big Powderhorn, it's been our February 'girl trip' for many many years. We would stay at Casa Bella again.

  We had 4 couples and this cabin was perfect for us since it had 3 queens and 1 king bed. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The view of the ski hill out the front windows was incredible! After skiing it was great to be within one mile of Black River Valley Pub. The food and beer there were amazing! We had to call to get a new water jug in the cabin and they had it delivered within minutes. Overall it was a great experience and we are definitely coming back!

  It was wonderful! Everything was very clean, we had enough space to spread out, yet had plenty of common areas to share and spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked, although we had to get a little creative with lacking a few things (like a working hand mixer, whisk, etc.), but we were able to cook everything that we had planned! The resort staff was more than happy to accommodate us, and the view out of the living room and two of the bedrooms was amazing! Looking out directly on to the snow covered slopes was a great start to the day!

  Antonella and Mary were extremely friendly and helpful. There were problems with the shower valve. We ran out of supplied trash bags, but used some brought from home. Then when the outside trash container filled up, we put the full plastic bags next to it, and some furry friends from the north woods came and tore one open. I guess we should have kept the overflow indoors. Despite these minor glitches, it was a great stay and we used Casa Bella to socialize with many relatives. If our next "reunion" is during ski season, we will miss this comfortable and affordable option!

  We rented a condo for 10 people and it fit our needs. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had all the supplies I needed. The dishwasher was out of order, but the management was great to deal with. We were walking distance to the hill, great for going back and forth. The shuttle driver was great as one person in our party cross country skiied and was dropped off and picked up quickly. The condo was not "top of line" but very adequate for a ski vacation.

  Nice place,convenient to the slopes. You can walk about 1-2 blocks. We parked our Suv early with the skis inside and walked down after breakfast. There was a minor leak in ht e roof but it did not bother us. Comfortable unit for 7-8. Could squeeze 9-10. Only one bedroom with twins.
