Recently renovated. This lower level unit has its own fireplace and small cozy rooms. The condo's prime location across from the Caribou Lodge and the Gun Barrel Lodge makes it a convenient choice.

  This was our second time renting this facility. It is very clean and comfortable. We love the convenience of walking to the ski hills. However, it is time to replace the futons. They are very uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping. It would also be nice to have a set of sheets for the extra bed.

  Very good place to stay for 2 people skiing at Powderhorn. Other than the bed being too close to the wall on one side, we have no complaints.

  First off I’d like to mention someone that was ver personable and answered several calls and e-mails regarding my stay Patty was exceptional she had the light on drapes back and heat warm when showed up that evening keys were in box just nothing more we could of asked for it made us feel very welcome you walk out the door and cross the street and walk up a set of steps and your on the mountain! Thanks patty and all the people that were so pleasant around the resort lift workers bartender Jim at the caribou and the waitress there 5 stars ! See u again soon

  Fun to have rental unit that had adjoining doors with unit next store. Happy overall except for that the futon would not fold down, so had to share bed which was not in the plan.

  Employees are so friendly and the ease of check in and check out is great. The room was not the cleanest, there were leftover items from previous guests under the bed and some stains on the bed skirt and large crumbs in the couch. We ran out of garbage bags and there was no refill. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, utensils and appliances. Nice storage area outside for your equipment.

  Unit was just what we were looking for. Simple but real close to the hill so we could take breaks there. Only complaint was that it was New Years Eve and there were very loud people in the other units and sound travels really good through the building.

  Rental experience was great! room was wonderful except the sliding door could use some oiling (difficult to open and close), staff were very courteous and helpful. Food was most excellent!! Impressed with the chef and his follow up on food prep.

  It was great. I've been all over the UP, but I've spent very little time in the Western UP until this year. I'd recommend it. I spent two months there. My only complaint is that cell phone service was rather limited until the trees dropped their leaves.

  The resort and accommodations were very good. We were however that the lodge restaurant were closed early in the evening and we had to drive to a nearby restaurant. We were told, when we made the reservation that this was a full service resort thus the disappoint. On the positive side, we found an excellent restaurant 10 minutes away.

  Great location. We stayed three nights. Good rates, galley kitchen with all appliances, plates, and silverware. A nice little electric "fireplace." A great place for 2-3 people to stay, and literally a 2-minute walk to the slopes.
