Recently renovated. This lower level unit has its own fireplace and small cozy rooms. The condo's prime location across from the Caribou Lodge and the Gun Barrel Lodge makes it a convenient choice.

One bedroom with a queen bed, futon sofa in living room with a gas fireplace, TV/VCR. Sleeps 4. Table and chairs, full kitchen with small stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

  The lockbox process is much easier than having to check in at the lodge. It would have been nice if they left the light on so we could have seen the lockbox numbers easier. There should be more pots and pans. The ones in the unit were burnt or in poor condition.

  My wife and I have stayed here several times. It works out great for us. It is not ski-in, ski-out. But it is an easy walk across the parking lot to the main lodge and the Caribou Restaurant.

  The condo was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and it was a short walk to the lifts. It will be even nicer when we're allowed to use the pool and hot tub again.

  The Hugel Haus is dated but it works for short stays. Good TV and WiFi, the kitchen is well equipped to do your own cooking as desired and the furniture is ok for comfort. The convenience to the ski hill is a great feature.

  Second year at this location. Love the location and staff, however, there were issues from the proir year that still were not addressed (eg sliding door not working properly, dishes not clean for use, water dispenser not filled for use, toilet not flushing correctly). Little things that would not prevent returning, yet annoying.

  This was a great place to stay- kitchen had everything including ice trays, a crockpot, and a blender. Plenty of extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. The place was also so convenient in respect to location. The shower and ceiling in the bathroom were the only areas that could use updating.

  With literally a 60 second walk to the ski area, this condo was very convenient. Other than our primary entrance being a glass sliding door and having to walk across a street that is a bit of a blind turn for snow plows and other vehicles, it was a nice place to stay, almost as convenient as ski in-ski out. Fully pan/utinsel stocked mini kitchen. We were led to believe the living room bed was a hide-a-bed but it was actually just a pull out futon, so much smaller and less comfortable...but we made do. The gas fireplace was really just a red light with an electric heater, no big deal I guess. Oh, and if u r downstairs, you hear all the walking upstairs, but gortunately they didnt stay up late. Would absolutely stay here again though.
