  Spent part of Spring break week w/ 2 daughters and friends so having multiple bdrms was great - nice enough rustic'y place - nice ski in/out access to the hill. Doesnt really have a hot tub though, just an old jetted bath tub fit for 1 so that would be a nice thing to add to this chalet. Great living areas with fireplace and plenty of wood was great for the eves. Would stay again

  We stayed at Slopeside on Big PowderHorn Mountain. What a beautiful cabin! Right on the mountain we were able to ski in/out and walk with daughter right over to the smaller part of the hill. All of the staff were very nice and friendly. The cabin was so kid friendly and had all the necessities we needed. Will be renting again for next year and the years to come.

  Beautiful home with excellent location for ski in/ski out. Alot of room, yet very cozy. Excellent kitchen, which had all we needed!!! The only complaint, is not much hot water for showers...after first day, we limited showering to 7 minutes each, 15 -20 minutes apart. The fam adapted.

  This chalet offers privacy among the trees with a view of the ski slope. The 2 livingrooms are an extra indulgence with plenty of room if families stay here. Bedrooms are on level you first walk into. Living space up a flight of stairs if you have older family members. We really liked this chalet. Has a nice size kitchen and good size fining table. Would definitely stay here again!

  It was super cool. Only thing that I have to critique- We stayed there on a warmer weekend where there was a lot of freeze/thaw and the driveway was really icy. So icy in fact that one of the cars slid all the way down the hill while we were sleeping! I'd suggest some sand and salt next year when the driveway gets like that.

  For a family reunion of 22+ we stayed in both Slopeside and Snowflake--across from each other. A good time was had by all. Only fly in the ointment, no air conditioning during short heat wave! We love Antonella! We saw a fox at Snowflake, and saw a bear just outside Hurley run across the highway in front of us!

  Our group has been coming to big Powderhorn for many years. This was our first year staying at Slopeside. The chalet was amazing. Very clean and well maintained. The amount of beds, bathrooms, and just space in general was perfect for our larger group.The kitchen appliances all appeared very new. The WiFi did go out the first day, but the resort did everything in their power to get it back for us. We stayed in slopeside because our usual chalet was already booked when we made our reservations, however, after three days in slopeside our group decided when we book our 2020 trip to go with slopside again. You will not be disappointed

  We love this property. What we would like to have changed is that the driveway was not cleared and there was no shovel to remove the ice from ahead of the door.
  The second thing is that the ski run was not groomed and we have small children, so would appreciate the lift open and groomed.

  Spent a long weekend here with 6 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. Loved that there were 2 separate "living" rooms; the kids were able to play games in one, while the adults sat by the fire and worked on puzzles. Ski in Ski out was great to be able to come in and warm up throughout our ski days. The driveway was a little steep and we got stuck the first time we tried pulling up. We would highly recommend staying here!

  Generally much of the house's furniture and fixtures seemed to be from the 80s, but still functional.
  One caution, the lift behind the chalet was not open on Monday of our vacation, thus we really didn't have "Ski-out" that day.

  We chose our weekend a year before anyone ever heard of a "Polar Vortex". Therefore, our 2 days of skiing was cut to a day of skiing and a day of hanging out in the condo.   We were a little disappointed that when we arrived at 1:40 p.m. we were not allowed to check in until 2 = the unit had been vacant the day before so there was no reason for this.
  
  Also, the toilets did not want to flush properly and we had to plunge a lot, but fortunately we did not have any overflows.

  We had 14 people come to this weekends ski trip and really enjoyed the time we had. The only issue was that none of our cell phones worked and when we called the lodge for long distance phone calls and usage there was no clear response. Other than that an amazing time!

  I loved the buy one lift ticket get one free through Shell Oil. Fill up 10 gals or more and they give you the certificate. Wow was that nice to get a little something for filling up. The cheese tray was great along with the H20 bottle. We loved the improvements on the in and out trail to Slope Side. We will be back. Just a thought, How about 25% off after so many stays in a row. That would keep us coming back for sure.

  The crew at Big Powderhorn Mtn deserve a round of applause for keeping everything running smoothly after the devastating fire. We have stayed at Slopeside for a few years and will continue to stay there in the future.

  We had a wonderful time up staying in this cabin, plenty of room for everyone (we brought 8 but would comfortably fit 10-12) and the service was spectacular. Our cable did not work when we first arrived but was fixed ASAP by the property manager who was courteous and prompt about all our needs. The cabin has a shed in back stocked with firewood and we kept a fire going all day when we were home sipping on hot chocolate. Great kitchen to cook especially the plenty of fridge room for food/beverages. This cabin faces Lower Tamarou which wasn't open our weekend of stay (December 17th-20th) but it was early in the season and we didn't mind driving down to the main lodge to get to the lifts. However, later in the season this would be a perfect ski-in/ski-out. The staff is very informed about the mountain and any other information you might need. Cannot wait to put in our reservations for next year!!!
