  I’ve rented both Chateaux Roo & Chateaux Stu, and they never fail to disappoint. They are very close to the mountain and offer all the comforts of home. The hot tub is a much-needed added bonus after a long day of skiing!

  It was super fun to go to the snowy ski wonderland so close to Big Powderhorn. It was a huge benefit to bring our dog Cooper along. Chateaux Roo 7 was very clean, warm and comfortable. We will be back!

  Very retro feeling. Unit was spotless when we arrived. We've stayed here the same weekend for the past 4 years. Damage from different guest's pet last year was not fixed when we came back this year, and pet price's were raised. May be looking to other rentals next year.

  2nd year in a row staying in Chateau Roo. Great experience! Cozy feeling with ski resort decor, can't wait to go back! Only bad part is the DVD player didn't work when we wanted to unwind at night, but the satellite dish proved to be a great alternative. Altered management upon checkout and they promised to fix it. Hot tub is private and perfect temp!

  Arriived late. Very pleased with accommodations. Pictures were very accurate from the website when I booked. Layout was great, very clean and quiet. The only issue we had was the hot tub filter was very dirty and there was dirt in the bottom of the tub. We called and it was taken care of while we were skiing. Kitchenette was great to have!! The lodge and ski hill was a very short drive. The bar and restaurants were great!! We would stay again! Good value for the price. We also wanted to ski for two hours in the morning and when we called the desk said it was no problem! That was great! Staff was very accommodating!!

  This was such a great trip! The people on the whole resort are so friendly. The condo we stayed in was so wonderful! It was clean, comfy and cozy! Our dog goes everywhere with us, so it was great to find a place willing to except her. She also had a great time running around and playing in the snow. The views are tremendous and it feels as if your in a winter wonderland! The Best part about this trip was that my fiancé and I got engaged!

  Overall very enjoyable. In-unit hot tub was a bit dirty, made strange clunking noise every hour first night there. Manager claimed it was due to outside temps. DVD player did not work. A bit dated but still very cozy, rustic feeling. Parking was terrible due to amount of snow so far this year. Might be better in years where not so much snow falls. Would recommend to friends only after letting them know what to expect.

  Had a wonderful time and terrific powder while we escaped for my husbands annual birthday getaway. Beautiful accomodations; and loved the fact we could cook right in our own chalet! Also we adored the ski chairs on the balcony! My only complaint was that the hot tub was REALLY HOT!

  Great customer service as usual from ladies at the office. Room was clean and warm. Hot tub a big bonus after skiing all day and it was very well maintained.
  Have stayed here 5 times mostly in #8 and at Stu also.
  Please do not get me wrong when I say this, just my suggestions. Facilities are in serious need of some updates. Floor has a lot of soft spots and makes a lot of noise. Carpet and linens are the same stuff that was there 7 years ago. Plumbing is leaking in the kitchen and bathroom sink from all faucets. Front door lights never worked. Street light out front has been out for 3 years. Snow plowing of the parking area this year was bad, there was enough room for 3 cars only. House keeping never came in 7 days, granted we were skiing a lot but fresh towels once would have been nice.
  Note to the owners. We like the fact you allow dogs and had ours with us but put a limit on size, number and or breed. 4 German Shepard's are a little much for this size unit, it will cut down on your upkeep.

  The rental unit was so friendly and cute! It did the job for the 4 of us. The Christmas lights were a nice touch on the balcony! The slopes were close by and the fresh powder made it feel like out west. Could have used a griddle for pancakes, but other than that, it was the perfect place for us!

  After arriving very late, we had trouble getting into the unit and had to return to the office three times to get the keys straighted out. When we informed the manager in the morning of the trouble we experienced checking in, and requested a free ski pass as compensation, she agreed. The units are conventiently located close to the slopes and having your own hot tub and gas stove was great.

  I booked the room at a specific rate. I then rcvd a confirmation email showing that same rate. I also communicated by email w/ an employee who confirmed the same rate in writing in the email. However, when I checked in, I was charged $16 higher than the confirmed rate. I showed both my printed confirmation and a printed copy of the email from the employee (both confirming the rate I was told), but was still charged the higher amount! And was given a long explanation of why the higher amount is correct. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Who cares if the higher amount is technically correct?? I have a confirmation letter and an email from an employee BOTH confirming the rate I was told over the phone. Why would not honor this?? I left with a bad taste in my mouth over such a small amount of money. Otherwise the stay was great.
