This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom non-smoking duplex (formerly named Frosty) has cathedral ceilings in the open living area and expansive windows and deck facing Big Powderhorn Mountain. Gas fireplace, updated décor, and fully stocked kitchen. Private indoor sauna, high speed WiFi, large dining room table, breakfast bar and a 47" LCD TV with Disney Plus. No pets. Sleeps 6.

The outdoor hut tub is shared by both units and is available only during the winter season.

  The pictures on the website don’t do this property justice. It’s a cozy, warm house with plenty of space. All three bedrooms are in the lower level. We loved the fireplace! The house is well stocked- plenty of linens, kitchen has everything you would need too. The staff was super helpful answering questions. The view is absolutely beautiful- such a pretty winter scene with the snow, trees and view of the ski hill. We would definitely come back and stay in this house.

  We had a great trip. Well kept and clean cabin with everything we needed. The mountain was good, would have been better with fresh powder but all in all a great time and price. I would recommend this to everyone.

  This rental was nice and clean! The only downsides were that the hot tub did not work and we found out upon arrival. They gave a little money back but we really chose this rental for the hot tub. There also was no hair soap/conditioner in the showers. But overall we are satisfied and will return as long as the hot tub works.

  The experience was great! The cabin was cute, clean and spacious. It had a fully stocked kitchen, board games, a sauna and a hot tub. We had 6 people in our group and it was perfect, we had so much fun there, would 100% go back. In addition, the resort was 2 min drive to the ski lifts and chateau, so it was very convenient!

  We stayed here 2 nights in mid-March for a spring break trip. The house was a perfect location, right by the hill. We didn't use the shuttle service but know it was available. The house was great for our family of five. Got some food in Ironwood and took advantage of the kitchen and plates/dishes to eat there both nights. The hot tub was great and our kids enjoyed their first sauna. Bedroom lights could have been brighter - maybe another wall lamp would help. And there was some ice build up by the stairs leading into the house from melting of the roof. Salt or sand at the house would have helped.

  We had a lovely time at Powderhorn-Frosty 1. The skiing was fantastic since we were lucky to have snow the night before we arrived and one evening. If we had issues with the lodging, the staff were quick to respond and fix whatever needed to be adjusted. All staff were pleasant in the restaurant, bar, and lodging rental. We did experience a fight between employees in the ski rental area and this was uncomfortable for the guests and the employees. This was reported to management. We will come back, we would love to learn about season passes for the 2018-2019 ski season along with rentals.

  We stayed 3 nights in one of the three bedroom chalets. Our chalet was wonderful. We had an outdoor hottub (watching the snow come down), sauna and fireplace to warm up after a full day of skiing. Our unit was very spacious and fairly well stocked with cooking gear as we brought food to cook in the nice kitchen area. This not only helped us save a bit of money but also gave us more time with friends. Check in and out was easy and freindly. The shuttle service was quick and helpful. Highly recommend.!!

  Overall my family and I had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very spacious as far as having enough space is concerned, but also cozy enough that my family had great quality time together. It was very clean, it looked beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. The only critique I would mention is that the fireplace had a minor issue (we couldn't get it to turn off when we wanted it to, which made my mom nervous. But I'm guessing that was a fluke). Overall the cabin and service were superb!

  TOTALLY satisfied. Kitchen cupboards were completely stocked with an abundance of dishes, utensils, pans....everything you could possibly need. Jacuzzi/sauna were both of a wonderful quality. Fireplace (gas) and furnace heated the house significantly well. It was 30 below zero with the wind chill during our stay, yes, BELOW, and we were snug. The property was properly shoveled out when we arrived and the heat was on. Bedding and towels were all brand new. The extras in the unit made it feel like you were visiting a friend's home. I would re-rent this property in a second. Truly, I can't say enough good things about this place. It was our first time renting a property in the Powderhorn area.

  With exception of the bedroom area being quite cold ( walkout basement bedrooms) it was perfect. Roomy, updated kitchen and great location. Now, it was below zero for the time we were there , but had to run sauna with door open to get the bedrooms above 62 degrees. Hope they look into that.
  We will go back and recommend this location.
