This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom non-smoking duplex (formerly named Frosty) has cathedral ceilings in the open living area and expansive windows facing Big Powderhorn Mountain. Gas fireplace, updated décor, and fully stocked kitchen. Private indoor sauna, high speed WiFi, large dining room table, breakfast bar and a 47" LCD TV with Disney Plus. No pets. Sleeps 6.

The outdoor hot tub is shared by both units and is available only during winter season.

  Very convenient for our group of friends to rent for ski weekend. We used all the commodities. We knew the people staying in the other side so Hot tub sharing was easy. However, if you do not know the neighbors in the other side; this could be an inconvenience for the hot tub as well as the parking. Each side had 2 vehicles and we had to move them around to get in and out

  We were visiting the area to show our kids where their Mom grew up (Bessemer), so the location was convenient to what we wanted to see. We enjoyed the Great Room, as we could all be together but doing different things. We had trouble figuring out the Apple TV, as none of us have that; fortunately, we had a 12-year-old who handled that for us! The family members who stayed in the first bedroom downstairs (across from the sauna) said the mattress was not very comfortable. We didn't use the sauna or the hot tub, so can't comment on that.
  The only other comment is that when we were approaching the Big Powderhorn entrance from the west at night, it was very difficult to see where the actual road was. A streetlight or reflectors would be very helpful.

  We had the best stay at Frosty 2. If you are expecting 5 star - this is not a Colorado mountain lodge. However, this chalet met our family needs and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about anything you would need (we didn't bring foil or storage bags). The gas fireplace was perfect - no need to go out and find wood. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The boys loved the private sauna and my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub (wish there were cup holders). The temp in the back bedrooms was a bit cold, but I think the kids figured out if they left their doors open the heat circulated. Our bedroom (center) was really warm. There wasn't any ice in the freezer, if you are mixing drinks you may want to bring some. Thanks for the dish soap, dishwasher soap and plenty of garbage bags. We wish we could have stayed longer!

  Spacious townhome. Nicely remodeled. Heat needs repair but we were able to reset the breaker every day to get it to work. Mice in the kitchen. Trash was full outside upon arrival and never picked up. We've stayed at many units in the village and this one was on the higher end of quality.

  We loved this place. 5 of us stayed here. We though it was a charming place with enough room for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Everything was very clean. The kitchen, dinner area, and large couch in the family room were very nice. However, the guest in the bedroom with no widows slept on the couch because it gets so hot in that bedroom. He tried opening the window but it is nailed shut. Luckily the couch was comfortable

  Very pleased with Frosty 2! Love that the owners updated the property - STOCKED kitchen with top-notch appliances, comfortable beds, comfortable and well-designed living room, etc., etc. My family loved the privacy of the outdoor hot tub and the fact we had our private sauna. The only suggestion I have is that I wish the snow had been cleared at the end of the driveway prior to our arrival. We got stuck a couple of times pulling up and out because of the slush (ice). We will definitely request this property again for our family. Thank you!

  We liked the open layout of the kitchen, living, and dining area. Very nice amenities. Felt spacious for our family. We've rented a dozen or more units at Powderhorn over the years, and Frosty 2 is one of our favorites. View of hill was nice. Hot tub was nice. One thing that should be looked at is the heat in bedrooms. Bedroom nearest furnace was to warm, one that shared walls with both bedrooms was just right, and the other bedroom was way to cold.

  although it is a short drive or walk, Frosty 2 was is a great location! you can see the Mountain through the trees, it has a hot tub, and it is very cozy! i loved my experience over this past new years holiday.

  Great location to the slopes. Nice, updated, clean property. Have recommended Frosty, and will again, but probably will not be back. Just too expensive for what you get compared to bigger mountain resorts.
